Gliwice "My Rain" rainwater subsidy 2022
City authorities have announced on the City Hall website the next edition of the "My Rain" program. The call for applications was initially scheduled for spring 2022. The latest arrangements are that applications can be submitted until August 12 at 3:00 p.m. This year PLN 500,000 has been allocated for this purpose. As in other cities in the country, the local small retention subsidy program is attracting a lot of interest. Especially with the future of "My Water" unclear. The deputy mayor - Mariusz Spievok - mentioned that:
"We are launching the second edition of the "My Rain" subsidy program, which is part of the assumptions of the City of Gliwice's Climate Change Adaptation Plan. Our program complements the (...) "Moja Woda" (My Water) program. In last year's handout, in which we had a half-million-dollar budget to distribute, the Gliwice City Hall received more than 200 applications. However, interest in "My Rain" was significantly greater. That's why there have been changes in the catalog of its beneficiaries, which will also allow people who are users of family allotment gardens to receive subsidies. We invite you to follow the city media and participate in the call for applications!

The amount of the subsidy will be PLN 4000. You can count on covering up to 85% of eligible costs.

- an underground or aboveground tank with a capacity of up to 10 m3,
- rain garden in a container,
- rain garden in the ground,
- absorption well,
- Adjustment of inactive underground tanks (septic tanks) to collect rainwater and snowmelt.
Application procedure
Documents are received by the Water Management Department of the Gliwice City Hall. Applications can be submitted:
- In person at the UM Stakeholder Service Office, at the Submission Office at 21 Zwycięstwa Street, or at the secretariat of the UM Water Management Department at 21 Zwycięstwa Street, 3rd floor, room 303,
- By mail to the address of the UM Water Management Department - Zwycięstwa 21 Street, 44-100 Gliwice,
- Via the Internet - send a scan of the completed application with attachments to the e-mail address: gw@um.gliwice.pl.
