MOJA WODA SUBSIDY - ORDER EARLY, USE IN 2022

Moja woda subsidy - order early, use in 2022

The name of the subsidy program "Moja Woda" means "my water". Every year, the nationwide program of subsidies for rainwater systems is very popular among the inhabitants of the entire country. The second edition of the program was completed in 2021. The electronic call for applications was suspended on June 10. This year, PLN 100 000 000 has been allocated. Financing was offered in the amount of up to PLN 5 000 for an investment with a minimum amount of PLN 2 000 and the minimum total size of the rainwater tanks - 2 m3. The regulations specify which eligible costs are included in the program. They included the purchase, delivery, assembly, construction and commissioning of the installation:

  1. to collect rainwater from the surface of impermeable properties, i.e. from roofs, sidewalks, driveways - that is: (e.g. catchers, inlets, linear drainage, rainwater drainage pipes without gutter);
  2. for the retention of rainwater in tanks (e.g. underground tanks, overground tanks, ponds),
  3. for retaining rainwater in the ground (e.g. unsealing of impermeable surfaces, absorbent wells, drainage, rain gardens - without planting costs); 4. for retention of rainwater on roofs - green roofs, no planting costs;
  4. to use rainwater (e.g. pumps, filters, pipes, sprinklers, controllers, water distribution centers, other installations enabling the management of rainwater).

We can talk about the success of the previous edition, dictated by huge interest. What will it be like in 2022? The period of financing is to last from 2020 to 2024. Therefore, it can be assumed with a high degree of probability that the "My Water" program will be continued in the next year. Financing in the amount of PLN 5 000 actually supports the inhabitants in investing in small retention. It is very important for Poland, because there is a problem with drought. However, we have to wait until next year for the official announcement of the National Fund (NFOŚiGW) for the next editions of the program and the size of the budget.

Time for submitting applications is up? Nothing is lost! Do not wait, order now and take advantage of the subsidy in 2022

The call for applications for funding for the construction of rainwater and snowmelt recovery systems has ended. Unfortunately, there was not enough time to submit your investment? The program regulations show that purchases made from July 1, 2020 are subject to co-financing! It should therefore be noted that, assuming that the regulations will not change, rainwater tanks and elements of the rainwater management system are considered eligible costs.

One of the conditions for obtaining the investment is the fact that it cannot be completed before signing the grant agreement between the Beneficiary and the Provincial Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management! Therefore, it is optimal to continue purchasing and installing systems, taking into account the investment completion time, without unnecessary and, above all, unprofitable haste.

It is also very important to keep your investment documentation in order, i.e. it is necessary to keep all invoices and bills for purchases and installation services. In the event of settlement, the beneficiary is obliged to submit the original documents.

Why should you order now? One of the main reasons for the profitability of investments is the fact that currently prices are rising very quickly, which increases inflation. In the near term, inflation is expected to rise consistently. The policy of low interest rates is not conducive to lowering it. As a consequence, the process of declining the purchasing power of money is self-propelled like a perpetual motion machine. The aforementioned inflation is rising and will continue to grow, so it is worth investing and ordering products now, because it is not known what increases will bring next year. The conclusion is simple, investing in advance helps to maximize the probability of receiving funding in 2022, but also saves money that will fall in value.
