TERMINAL DHL, PŁASZEWKO K/SŁUPSKA

Rainwater management at DHL Płaszewko

The DHL terminal put into service in the second half of 2018 was built in the Special Economic Zone of the city of Słupsk in Płaszewko. The facility has been equipped with a rainwater collection and use system, incl. for flushing toilets. DHL Parcel has been successfully implementing its GOGREEN policy for many years. Due to the company's extensive development plan, many other investments of a similar nature will be created in the country.

About the central used in the facility

At The facility used a rainwater center provided by Aquatechnika with an Aquamatic Industrial 80 H 9-70 booster pump. The device, thanks to the hydrostatic level probe installed in the rainwater tank, detects the level of rainwater in the underground tank, and if there is no rainwater, it starts the supply of tap water. The pressure sensor in the system informs about its drop, thus activating one or, in case of high wear, both pressure pumps. After the pressure in the installation is stabilized, the pumps are turned off. In order to prevent excessive wear of one of the pumps, the controller changes the order in which they are started every 24 hours. Additionally, in order to reduce the frequency of switching on the pumps, a diaphragm vessel with a capacity of 100 liters was installed, which maintains the pressure. Centrala deszczowa w obiekcie przemysłowym DHL Płaszewko
