As part of the "Bielsko Biała łapie deszcz" (Bielsko - Biała catch the rain) program, residents of Bielsko-Biała could submit applications for subsidies for overground and underground rainwater tanks until June 30, 2021.

PLN 1 500 000 was allocated for the implementation of the program in 2021, and in 2020 it was PLN 700 000. It was possible to obtain PLN 3 000 for an underground tank larger than 1 m³. For tanks smaller than 1 m³, but with a capacity of min. 0.3 m³ up to PLN 1,000. In addition, it was possible to obtain up to PLN 1 500 for the adaptation of the existing septic tank, home sewage treatment plant for the purposes of a sealed tank. The owners of recreational plots could receive funding for an above-ground reservoir with a capacity of min. 200 l in the amount of up to PLN 500.

The program enjoys great popularity among the inhabitants of Bielsko-Biała and its next editions should be expected next year.
