Moon Office – rainwater centrals
The Moon Office building is located at ul. Twardowskiego, near Roundabout Grunwaldzkie. It is a tasty morsel for companies looking for office space that meets the highest standards. Therefore, it is not surprising that the National Science Center bought the entire building and open its new headquarters in this place. Unusual architecture and the highest quality construction solutions allowed to achieve the AAA + class, as well as the LEED certificate at the Platinum level - the highest possible.
Management of rainwater at the Moon Office
In facilities of this class, there is no room for careless management of resources, including water resources. Rainwater collected from the roof goes to retention reservoirs, some of which have been separated for the purpose of its later use for flushing toilets.
The solution we delivered to the Moon Office building
The facility uses a rainwater center provided by Aquatechnika with Aquamatic Industrial 160 S 14-60 self-priming pumps. The device independently detects the level of rainwater in the tank behind the wall, and if there is no rainwater, it starts supplying tap water. The pressure sensor in the system informs about its drop, thus activating one or, in case of high wear, both pressure pumps. After the pressure in the installation is stabilized, the pumps are turned off. In order to prevent excessive wear of one of the pumps, the controller changes the order in which they are started every 24 hours. Additionally, in order to reduce the frequency of pump activation, an expansion vessel with a capacity of 100 liters was installed, which maintains the pressure in the system.
