Drainage boxes are universal in that they allow the construction of small and large retention and drainage tanks. The number of boxes used depends on the capacity of the tank. The selection takes into account the absorbency of the soil, the groundwater level and the amount of rainwater flowing from the catchment area.

Absorption tunnels can be used to create long drainage lines (strands). The advantage of infiltration tunnels is that they can be installed quite shallowly. The tunnel has a lot of free space (volume), which ensures that it does not become clogged. Tunnels are usually used for smaller catchment areas.

Absorption wells are used for point source rainwater distribution. A big advantage is their retention capacity. They will work well when the plot area is small. It is important to check that the ground at the site is permeable and that there is no high groundwater level.
