After the successful edition of the program in 2022, the city authorities decided to continue it. It was anticipated that in 2023 the budget for the small retention grant will be PLN 150 thousand. Applications for the grant can be submitted from March 1. The call for applications runs until March 22. The rainwater subsidy in Rzeszów is very popular. That is why we encourage you to submit applications as soon as possible, as funds are limited. The order of applications is decisive. You can get up to 80% refund of eligible costs. In practice, this is no more than PLN 1,000. The local rainwater grant program is the city's response to the nationwide My Water program. Admittedly, it has been announced that another call for applications for the Moja Woda program will be launched in 2023, but the rules and exact date have not yet been determined. As a result, Rzeszów residents can take benefit of local funding for their rainwater management systems as early as March.

Small retention is a way to fight the progressive problems of water shortages in Poland. It involves storing rainwater and using it to, for example, garden watering. Rainwater has a low pH, which makes it soft. It is therefore safe for appliances (no scale formation). It is suitable for washing, washing the car and other work within the garden. It is also worth noting that rainwater management reduces rain tax rates. By installing rainwater retention systems, you increase the overall retention area on your plot.
