Features of a sump tray for capturing dangerous substances

One of the popular solutions to the problem of spills is the sump tray. In the event of an uncontrolled leak, its purpose is to capture the dangerous substance. In short, the main task of a sump tray is to prevent environmental contamination. It is therefore an obligatory and necessary safety device. It should be equipped in every company that uses chemicals in its production process.

The capacity of the sump tray must be greater than the volume of the substances to be stored. The sump tray is made of durable materials that are resistant to various chemicals. Medium-density polyethylene is commonly used for this purpose.

Workfloors and banded pallets

In addition to sump trays, we also offer workfloors and spill trays (pallets). Work floors are equipment for workplaces in companies where there is a risk of contact with corrosive chemicals. The aim is to protect the workplace against spillages and environmental contamination. Workfloors can be combined to create larger work areas. Spill trays (banded pallets) are placed under barrels of dangerous substances. Both of these solutions are the equivalent. Their design allows for easy cleaning, however, the pallets are deeper than the work floors. They therefore have a larger capture area.
