Floating water intake

The category includes floating water intake kits. This is the fourth stage of water treatment in rainwater tanks. The intake is designed to draw water from the tank from a level about 20 cm below the water surface. This is where the cleanest water is found. These devices ensure that the medium supplied to the pump is not contaminated with solid particles.

Features of the floating intake system

The intake kits presented consist of a filter sieve, a non-return valve and a floating ball. A flange around the strainer prevents silt being drawn in from the bottom of the tank at low water levels. A mesh filter provides additional protection against debris. The intakes are mounted on a flexible suction hose, allowing the entire assembly to move freely. In addition, flow regulators are used when a fixed discharge from the tank is planned. Durable plastic, stainless steel and brass are used to manufacture the sets.
