The first stage of the raw sewage treatment plant takes place in the septic tank, where the sewage is pre-treated by sedimentation processes consisting in falling and deposition of solids and fats in sewage and through flotation processes, causing the pollution to float on the surface, creating a so-called sheepskin. Fermentation occurs, heavier particles insoluble in water fall to the bottom, thus forming a precipitate. The liquid continues to move slowly to the next part of the purification process.
The next stage of the sewage treatment plant takes place outside the septic tank, i.e. in the ground by means of a drainage system of drainage. Effective process of sewage treatment plant lasts about 3 days, which is why it is crucial to choose a tank with optimal capacity and adapt it to the prevailing water and ground conditions on the site of the planned investment. A properly designed septic tank removes the slurry at about 75% -80%, BZT-5 at about 40-70%, before the impurities flow to the next devices. It is assumed that sewage at the outlet of the septic tank is pre-treated in about 65%.
