"CATCH THE RAINWATER" SUBSIDY PROGRAM IN LUBANIE COMMUNE

"Catch the rainwater" subsidy program in Lubanie Commune

The Lubanie Commune authorities, located in the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodeship, have announced a pilot water protection program. The example of this rural municipality shows that small retention is becoming increasingly popular and reaching every part of the country. We are all witnessing the worsening drought problems in Poland. Over the past few years, rainwater collection has become a way to help mitigate the effects of climate change. Thus, by increasing retention, the effects of urban heat islands are being reduced. Rainwater is soft water, so it is suitable for washing the car, doing laundry or watering the garden. The local subsidy is an alternative to the nationwide Moja Woda (My Water) program, which has been announced for 2023. It is not yet known when the next call for applications will be announced. That's why you can already take advantage of local programs. This year, the authorities will allocate PLN 10000 for the Catch Rainwater program in the Lubanie commune.

Subsidy beneficiaries are natural persons who have the right to real estate in the Lubanie Municipality. Residents can count on funding up to 100% of eligible costs, but not more than PLN 500. The call for applications runs until April 30, 2023.
