The coastal city, which is the destination of many Poles during the vacations, is famous not only for its resorts. Gdynia is a pioneer in promoting small retention. Applications for rainwater subsidies are accepted on a continuous basis. This is also the case in 2023. You can get 80% of eligible costs, that is, up to PLN 10,000. The subsidy is dedicated to: individuals, legal entities, housing communities and entrepreneurs. The money is paid until the funds are exhausted for the year. It is not worth delaying, as the order of applications is decisive. The subsidy is an interesting alternative to the nationwide My Water (Moja Woda) program, the next edition of which has been announced. However, information and the exact date of the next edition are still unknown.

City authorities indicate that the program aims to reduce the effects of a changing climate. Rainwater retention helps fight the effects of drought. Rainwater is ideal for watering the garden, doing laundry or washing vehicles. It features a low pH (it is soft), so it is safe for devices.
