Skawina Municipality has introduced a subsidy programme for housing communities to promote rainwater harvesting. This allows residents to apply for a subsidy for the installation of rainwater tanks, which is beneficial both for the environment and for reducing water consumption costs.

Applications for the grant can be made between 29 July and 30 September 2024. It is important that applications are submitted by the deadline, as they will not be considered after this date.

The maximum amount that can be received is £8,000. The grant covers the cost of purchasing and installing rainwater tanks, which means that communities can receive funding for the entire process of installing these devices. It is awarded on the basis of the capacity of the tank and the amount is PLN 100 for each 0.1 m³ of capacity started.

The programme is aimed exclusively at housing communities located in the Skawina Municipality. They are the ones who can apply for funding, which is granted in the form of a subsidy covering a part of the costs related to the purchase and installation of rainwater tanks.

Applications can be submitted in person at the Citizen Service Office in Skawina or electronically via the ePUAP platform. The application process requires the attachment of relevant documents that confirm the possibility of installing a tank on the premises of the housing community and specify the planned capacity and location of the tank.
