Subsidy for rainwater tanks in Kalisz also in 2023 - new edition
Over the years, we have seen progressive climate change in Poland. The average annual temperature is increasing. This is influenced by the poor water system in our country and the concreting of cities. The prevalence of impermeable surfaces effectively hinders rainwater retention. As a result, this leads to flooding, as the urban sewer system cannot keep up with water collection. Urban heat islands are also created, which significantly reduce the quality of life for inhabitants. In order to combat concretions, laws have been created that make it obligatory to pay a tax on impervious surfaces on a plot. Read more about the rain tax in the article. This is to oblige owners to install rainwater retention systems. In addition to this, subsidy programs are also used to encourage the purchase of tanks and other retention devices. Rainwater harvesting is a very good way to prevent drought.
Kalisz city authorities have decided to fight the effects of drought in accordance with the principles of small retention. This is the local government's response to the nationwide My Water program, the next edition of which has been announced for 2023. However, the exact dates and arrangements for this year's call for My Water applications are not known. Therefore, it is already worthwhile to take advantage of the local subsidy program in Kalisz for residents. The call for applications for rainwater tank subsidies in Kalisz runs until March 31. There is little time left, and the order of applications is decisive. So it is not worth delaying and take advantage now.
