Świątniki Górne grant Eco-logic: Catch the rain to the tank

The Municipality of Świątniki Górne is leading an initiative with a catchy name in 2024: "Eco-logic! Catch the rain to the tank', aimed at promoting sustainable management of rainwater resources in domestic areas. The scheme involves providing subsidies to residents for the purchase and installation of rainwater harvesting tanks, helping to conserve natural water resources and promote low retention in the urban environment. Increased rainwater retention also protects the sewerage infrastructure from overloading during periods of heavy rainfall. The initiative is therefore an excellent example of local action for water conservation and environmental education of residents.

To apply for a grant, applicants must submit a grant application between 6 May 2024 and 18 October 2024 or until funds are exhausted. It is therefore worth making a decision quickly, as the order of application is decisive.

Beneficiaries of the Eco-logics programme: Catch the rain into the tank

Any resident of the Świątniki Górne Municipality whois a natural person and holds a legal title to a property located in the municipality can be a beneficiary of the programme . In case of co-ownership, a written consent of all co-owners is required.

Tasks subject to subsidy

The programme provides financial support for the purchase of tanks with a capacity of at least 360 litres, which allow rainwater and snowmelt to be collected and reused on the property.

The subsidy is one-off and covers the reimbursement of part of the investment costs incurred up to a maximum of 50% of the eligible costs, but no more than PLN 400 per property. Any resident of the municipality who holds the legal title to the property and meets the formal requirements may apply for financial support for the purchase of the tank. It is important that the investment is not financed from other sources or subject to other subsidies.

Application procedure

Applications may be submitted in person at the Municipal Office of Świątniki Górne, by mail or electronically via the ePUAP platform with the use of a trusted profile. Applications will be examined within 30 working days from the date the application is received by the Office.

Upon completion of the investment and submission of an appropriate settlement application together with required documents such as invoices or photos of the installation, the municipality verifies the application. After positive approval, the subsidy is paid within 14 days. It is worth noting that the final amount of the subsidy is determined on the basis of the actual costs incurred by the beneficiary.
