"Domestic treatment plant" Katowice 2022-subsidy in the Silesian voivodeship.

The pilot edition of the subsidy program for the building of household sewage treatment plants has been launched. The Provincial Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management in Katowice has announced a call for applications. It is scheduled to last until December 31, 2022 or until the organizer stops the call. PLN 1,000,000 is planned for the program. The aim of the project is primarily environmental effect. It is estimated that 125 treatment plants will be implemented. This corresponds to 300 p.e. (population equivalent). 

The subsidy amount is no more than PLN 8,000. The program provides funding for up to 50% of eligible costs.

Task subject to subsidy

The subsidy covers the purchase and installation of a domestic wastewater treatment plant. Its capacity should not exceed 7.5 m3/d. The subsidy is to be given for treatment plants for existing buildings, as well as for houses under construction and yet to be planned. The subsidy does not apply to buildings that are used for business activities.

Who can apply for the subsidy?

Individuals residing in the Silesian voivodeship can apply for the subsidy:

  • Owners and co-owners of real estate,
  • Owners and co-owners of residential buildings on real estate given in perpetual usufruct.
