HOW ANTI-ODOR FILTERS WORK?

Anti-odor filters are the perfect solution for all kinds of sewer odors (from sewage chambers, sewage pumping stations or septic tanks). The impact of sewage odors on the daily life of residents contributes to the introduction of new solutions to eliminate bad smell. The developing sewage network, with the simultaneous development of residential housing (both single-family and multi-family), constitute a real threat related to the emerging odors. The danger of hydrogen sulphide in sewer odors can cause eye irritation, headache, coughing and even cause fainting. The task of anti-odor filters is to minimize the release of chemicals substances (both fragrance and odorless) occurring in sewage systems.

Anti-odor filters work with the use of an absorbing substance, which is impregnated  high-quality activated carbon. The odor absorbing substance used is the highest-quality formed coal, produced from hard coal using the steam-gas method. Its surface is modified with potassium iodide. It is characterized by high adsorption capacity, very good mechanical strength and high sorption capacity. It is a very good material for filling adsorbers.  
Activated impregnated carbon is used, among others, in biogas plants to remove sulfur compounds, especially H₂S from biogas, various deodorization processes (e.g. in fermentation processes, sewage treatment plants and many others) elimination of various substances from the air and other gases, e.g. from ventilating tanks or reactors.

Our offer includes three types of filters:

• Anti-odor underhatch filter mounted directly under the hatch with 4 mounting brackets. Dedicated to hatches with a diameter of DN 600 or DN 800.
  
  

• Anti-odor ventilation filter mounted directly to the tank body (septic tank, pumping station sump, separator). The outer diameter of the filter is adapted to the tight passage of PVC (a tight sleeve transition or a gasket) with a diameter of DN 110 or DN 160.

• Internal chimney anti-odor filter mounted directly in the opening of the existing ventilation chimney. The internal filter should be inserted into the ventilation chimney until it rests freely on the ring mounted on the filter body. Dedicated to pipes with a diameter of DN 110 or DN 160.
  
  

OXYS anti-odor filters are fully maintenance-free devices. They work effectively from the moment of installation.
They are made of durable, resistant to aggressive substances and PE-HD pipes.
The material used guarantees efficient and long-term functioning of the filters.

The operating life of the OXYS filter element is provided to last from 2 to 5 years, depending on the intensity of use. After this time, it is recommended that the entire filter element (activated carbon) be replaced by a qualified company, which is authorized to collect this type of waste. You can replace the filter yourself, but the used cartridge should be disposed of.
