KINDERGARTEN "UL" (BEEHIVE) IN BISKUPICE PODGÓRNE

Kindergarten "Ul" (beehive) in Biskupice Podgórne

Korean concern LG Energy Solution Wrocław has decided to invest in the construction of a large kindergarten in Biskupice Podgórne near Wrocław. The facility has been designed for as many as 240 children. The name of the kindergarten "Ul" (beehive) refers to the symbol of cooperation in the environment, namely bees. LG employs about 10,000 workers and caters to their needs.  The kindergarten is intended to be a facilitation for employees and an expression of concern for the welfare of themselves and their families. It began operating on September 1, 2022. LG is equally focused on the development of pro-environmental attitudes. Therefore, the decision was made to install a rainwater management system.

The investor provided us with his design and hydraulic data that characterize the object. Accordingly, we selected a rainwater management system for a 24 m3 tank that collects rainwater from a 1900 m2 roof. The water recovery system, was designed so that the rainwater would supply the toilets in the building. We also ensured the delivery of all components of the set:

  • Easy 500 H 12-60 rainwater control panel,
  • A set of 2 booster pumps for the control panel,
  • Cintropur NW 400 filter with 50 and 150 micron filter cartridges,
  • AZ 315 water filter,
  • Aquato liquid level sensor,
  • Calmed inlet.
The Easy rainwater control panel is dedicated precisely to buildings with such characteristics as the kindergarten building. It makes it possible to manage rainwater. Due to the size of the investment, as many as two booster pumps were used, which is related to the hydraulic parameters of the installation. Before the water enters the tank it is subjected to pre-filtration in the AZ 315 filter. The system is also equipped with a calmed inlet, which prevents sediment from floating from the bottom of the tank. The NW400 filter, together with matched gradation cartridges, ensures adequate purity and sensory properties of the water for the end user. The Aquato sensor is responsible for controlling and monitoring the condition of the liquid. It uses a WiFi network and a smartphone app for this purpose. This innovative device provides the convenience of managing water resources in the tank.
