Float switch
To ensure that the pump is not damaged, its operation should be stopped at the right moment. This is most often done at a fixed minimum water level in the tank. A float switch is a device whose purpose is precisely to protect the pump from aeration and damage. The water level is determined by a float that floats on the water surface. As the amount of water in the tank changes, the float changes its position. When the float reaches a predetermined minimum level (safe for the pump), power is disconnected. When the tank is refilled and the float rises, the power lock is released. The length of the float cable is 20 m.
