Suction strainer DN100 for pump
The suction strainer is a basket with a mesh diameter of 4 to 6 mm and is designed to be fitted to the suction hose to the pump. The holes form a mesh of the specified gradation. Its purpose is to catch solid impurities that could damage the pump. The screen is made of galvanised steel, which protects against corrosion. The basket design is very simple and successfully filters. As a result, the service life of the pump is ensured at an optimum level while at the same time the cost of filtration is kept low.
