The AquaTop set is designed for refilling the tank with water from wells or other sources. The device monitors the filling of the tank. When there is a shortage of water in the tank, the sensor sends a signal to the refilling device, which pumps water up to the maximum level. If the well runs out of water, the system stops operation until water is restored. The pump is protected against dry running. The device works very well in wells with unstable water levels or low capacity.
Conductivity probes are responsible for testing the water level in the well. The working principle of these is quite simple. When the measuring probe is immersed in water, an electrical connection is established between it and the reference probe. The level at which the tank is full is determined by a float switch. The height of the water surface is determined by the float, floating on the surface. As the amount of water in the tank changes, the float changes its position and indicates when the maximum and minimum levels have been reached.
