Intewa's Aqualoop gray water utilization systems are dedicated to public buildings, workplaces and other commercial facilities. They consist primarily of:
- Rectangular gray water tanks (internal) in black - the dark color protects against the negative impact of the sun on water quality; the tanks have galvanized steel reinforcements,
- Purain filter - equipped with a rinsing nozzle,
- Aqualoop membrane station with integrated pump,
- Aeration set - diffuser and air blower,
- I-Connect controller Automatic CIP dosing station - enables chemical cleaning of membranes according to schedule.
Details about the equipment can also be found in the catalog card.
Gray water is a raw material produced after bathing and washing from showers, bathtubs, sinks and washing machines. Until recently, it was directed directly into the sewage system and was lost forever. Aqualoop gray water systems allow you to reuse gray water. Gray water recycling is rational from both an ecological and economic point of view. The kit purifies gray water through physical and biological purification processes.
The principle of operation of Aqualoop gray water recovery
Gray water is initially directed to the Purain filter, where preliminary treatment takes place. It then flows to the bioreactor. The bioreactor takes place in the process of biological decomposition of pollutants in water. Ultrafiltration also takes place at this stage using a membrane station. The water is filtered and directed to the clean water tank. A huge advantage of ultrafiltration membranes is their accuracy. The pore diameter is approximately 0.02 μm. This successfully removes solid contaminants, viruses and batteries from the water.
The final stage is disinfection using UV lamps or chlorination. The water is then treated according to standards. The pumping station is responsible for the distribution of purified water. It directs water to receivers: toilets, washing machines, irrigation.
Gray water treatment systems with a capacity of over 5,400 l/d are additionally equipped with controllers that also enable chemical cleaning of membrane cartridges. This is done at fixed time intervals. This significantly increases the system's efficiency. Another advantage is the extension of the failure-free operation of the set. Membrane cleaning involves removing biofilm with sodium hypochlorite and removing scale with citric acid.
Advantages of a commercial gray water kit:
Lower bills for running water and sewage collection (reuse of gray water in the building),
Greater independence from water supply,
Protection of drinking water resources - an ecological way to reduce water consumption and wastewater produced; improving the company's image,
Increasing the rating in building certification (LEED, BREEAM, etc.) and increasing the value of the building,
Very easy installation and commissioning; ready-made packages,
Personalization of solutions to customer and building requirements - maximizing the use of the potential of water resources,
Full control over the operation of the installation on-site and remotely. Automatic operation and continuous monitoring using the I-Connect controller (touch display),
The highest quality of treated water guarantees user safety - NSF 350:2014 Class C certificate.
