The Barcin Municipality is once again organising a grant for investments in rainwater harvesting on properties developed with single-family dwellings. This initiative is aimed at increasing water retention on the property and protecting water resources through the use of collected rainwater.

The rainwater grant in the Municipality of Barcin is an excellent opportunity for residents to take care of the environment and reduce their water consumption costs at the same time. The subsidy greatly facilitates the purchase and installation of retention tanks due to lower investment costs. Rainwater harvesting promotes water conservation and increases water availability during periods of drought. We encourage all those eligible to take advantage of this opportunity.

Applications for funding can be submitted annually from 15 April to 31 May each calendar year. Applications submitted after this deadline will not be considered, so it is important that interested persons ensure that their documents are submitted on time. A grant can be applied for once every 10 years if the Municipality has funding for this purpose in that year .

Beneficiaries of the subsidy may be owners of properties developed with single-family residential buildings located in the Barcin Municipality. The beneficiary is the owner who holds the legal title to the property - by owner is also meant a co-owner of the property, a perpetual usufructuary of the property.

The subsidy may cover up to 60% of the actual costs incurred for the purchase and installation of the retention tanks, but not more than PLN 1500 gross. The subsidy applies to the purchase of aboveground tanks with a capacity of at least 300 litres or underground tanks with a capacity of at least 1,000 litres, together with the elements necessary for their installation and operation.

Funding can only be obtained for the purchase and installation of the following types of rainwater retention tanks:

In order to apply for a grant, an application form available at the Customer Service Office of the Barcin Municipal Office or on the office's website must be completed. The application must be correctly filled out and contain all required attachments, such as a document confirming the legal title to the property and the co-owners' consent to the task.

The application along with the required attachments should be submitted to the Municipal Office in Barcin, ul. Artylerzystów 9 - Customer Service Office.

Once submitted, the application will be checked for formalities by a committee appointed by the Mayor. Grants will be awarded on the basis of the order of submitted applications and the availability of funds in the municipality's budget for the given year.
