The "Żary Municipality Catches Rain" rainwater retention subsidy program has once again been launched in Żary. Applications can be submitted from April 1. The call lasts until September 30, 2022. The order of applications is decisive. It is worth bearing in mind that the program enjoys great interest among residents. 

One can count on covering up to 90% of eligible investment costs. However, the condition is that the subsidy will not be more than PLN 1000. 

The aim of the program is primarily to promote ecological attitudes among residents. Microretention is to counteract the effects of drought. In addition to this, the construction of rainwater management systems helps reduce the cost of the rain tax. You can read about it in the article about ways to reduce the rainwater tax fee.

The subsidy includes the building of rainwater systems for the retention and management of rainwater. The subsidy covers an above-ground tank, a container that is part of the rainwater system. 

The subsidy is aimed at individuals who own or have the right to real estate in the municipality of Żary. 

Applications should be submitted in paper form to the office of the Żary Municipality administration.
