Sludge Composter

A domestic wastewater treatment plant is a great solution, especially if a sewer connection is not possible. The sewage treatment plant is almost service-free, however, it does require servicing. At regular intervals, excess sludge which is produced during the biological treatment process must be removed. A specialised service team with a service truck is called in for this purpose. This can be considered the only disadvantage of the treatment plant. To create a maintenance-free plant, we suggest connecting a special sludge composter. Such an installation then requires no sludge disposal. You only have to empty the compost tank for fertilising the plants yourself.

An automatic sludge composter is used in an installation with a biological sewage treatment plant. Excess sludge from the sewage treatment plant is pumped into the tank-composter by means of a pump. In the Composter, the sludge is processed and hygienised. It is then removed once every few years for the purpose of fertilising plants. The tank is made of polyethylene, which is robust under adverse conditions. It also shows resistance to chemicals, including aggressive sewage. It is invisible in the garden because it is buried in the ground. It allows bark to be covered to a depth of up to 5 cm.

Advantages of the Composter

  • Possibility of installing the treatment plant in a place where there is no road access,
  • No need to dispose of sludge from the treatment plant (use it to fertilise plants within the plot),
  • Saving money due to reduced servicing costs,
  • Making the treatment plant easier to operate and maintain,
  • Pro-ecological - possibility of obtaining valuable compost for plants,
  • The unit is invisible to users due to its underground installation.
