Sealed crossings

Sealed cable transits - safe cable routing through walls

Sealed cabletransits for masonry structures are indispensable installation accessoriesfor the tight and safe routing of cables and supply lines through walls, ceilings or foundations. Their use minimises the risk of dampness, short-circuits and damage to electrical installations, especially in damp environments.

In the Aquatechnika range you will find:

  • Sealed masonry passage DN100 - available in three cable hole variants (e.g. 2×32 mm + 1×16 mm + 2 cables), made of rubber gasket and stainless steel pressure plates - simple, durable and effective,
  • GP-W professional sealing passage - designed to seal several cables or pipes, suitable for boreholes and casing pipes with diameters from 65 mm to 3,000 mm, with materials resistant to water, gases and moisture, with the option of selecting the type of gasket (EPDM, NBR, silicone) and guaranteed tightness even at pressures of up to 0.25 MPa.

These products are distinguished by their top quality workmanship, simple installation and excellent compatibility with different types of construction. Take a look at our range of products and select a passage perfectly suited to the requirements of your installation.

The sealing passage elements are made of high-quality materials - stainless steel (A2/A4) in the metal parts and rubber elastomers (EPDM, NBR, silicone) in the seals. Their design is based on a pressure mechanism: the twisted rings cause the gasket to expand, which accurately fills the space between the conduit and the hole, ensuring full tightness even under pressure. It is a solution that is resistant to corrosion, atmospheric agents and various working environments - both internal and external.

Sealed penetrations are used in:

  • Electrical, hydraulic and teletechnical installations,
  • Retention basins and concrete culverts,
  • Foundations, floors and structural walls,
  • Residential, industrial and infrastructure buildings,
  • Places requiring protection against moisture, water and gases.

FAQ - questions and answers

How do sealed walkways work?

Sealed penetrations work on the principle of a gasket sandwiched between two metal discs. By tightening them, the gasket stretches and fits tightly into the pipe or hole, preventing moisture and water from entering. They are ideal for rainwater retention systems, providing protection against short circuits.

What materials are used for watertight penetrations?

The metal components are made of stainless steel and the seals are made of high-quality rubber. This combination guarantees durability, corrosion resistance and a flexible, reliable seal.
0

What are some examples of sealed crossing options?

Different passage variants are available, e.g. DN100 with hole configurations: 2 × ∅32 + 1 × ∅16 or 1 × ∅36 + 1 × ∅16, which allows us to adapt the product to the specific assembly task. The number of holes can also be freely configured to fit the hole plan.
0

Where can sealed walkways be used?

They are primarily used in rainwater tanks to safely route electrical cables or service lines through the building wall. They protect against moisture and flooding, enabling the retention system to function reliably.
