The GP-SR sealing transition is a professional sealing element. It is designed for watertight and/or gas-tight protection of a single pipe or cable led through a casing pipe or an opening in a wall, ceiling or foundation slab (where the space to be sealed is greater than 25 mm and less than 120 mm). It effectively protects against the penetration of water, moisture and gases, ensuring the long-term tightness of the installation.
Thanks to its design, it makes it possible to seal the space between pipes, cables or wires and a smooth, round casing pipe or borehole. The product allows a maximum deviation of 2° from the axis of the pipe from the axis of the bore, which allows for precise installation under various conditions.
The GP-SR sealed crossing is suitable for electrical, fibre optic, water, gas, sewage, district heating and industrial installations. It can be installed at the sealed crossing stage in new developments as well as in the modernisation of existing networks.
Installation requirements:
- BOTTOM - smooth bore without longitudinal grooves or pipe with smooth internal surface with a minimum length of 60 mm,
- PIPE - all smooth-walled types of pipes, cables and wires made of any material with any wall thickness,
- the space to be sealed must be greater than 25 mm and less than 120 mm
- to be installed at the stage of creating a sealed passage or when a passage already exists (split version)
NOTE: the seal is a fixed point, it is not a support, it cannot carry the lateral load resulting from the weight of the pipe with the medium.
