Ecorain 10 rain console system for rainwater management in the home and garden for watering, flushing toilets and washing machine supplyHow it works

Smart home and garden kit with Ecoline tank is used for rainwater reuse. Rainwater is collected from the roof through a gutter system and fed through a drain pipe to the tank. The water is treated in an Opti filter, which ensures thorough purification, after which it flows into the tank (by gravity). A pump pumps the water from the tank to the consumers in the building (sanitary appliances, e.g. flush toilets, washing machines). If the water level in the tank is too low, then the sanitary appliances are automatically supplied with tap water. The home and garden system is equipped with a fully automatic control panel Ecorain 10. The control panel includes a pump, control and emergency supply of tap water. When the operating point of the suction line is below its characteristic line, a booster pump should be used. The purpose is to ensure reliable and safe operation of the system.

Installation instructions

It is possible to base the tanks in unfavourable conditions. Ecoline is suitable for soils with unfavourable ground-water conditions. These include, for example, a high groundwater table (up to 40 cm from the bottom of the tank) and impermeable - heavy (clay) soils. 

Application of backfill during installation:

  • Max. 56 cm ground cover - sand backfill (20 cm layer),
  • From 80 cm soil cover - backfilling with lean concrete B-10 (20 cm layer),
  • In case of installation in ground with periodically elevated ground water level (up to max. 40 cm), backfilling with lean concrete B-10 (20 cm layer).

Tank cover - TopCover with gasket + VS 60 ascending pipe extension.

Tank cover is designed for pedestrian traffic. It is made of polyethylene with a double wall and has a child safety device. The VS 60 ascending pipe extension has a height of 635 mm, Ø600 mm. The set also comes with a dedicated gasket.

Opti rainwater filter

The Opti underground filter is used to purify rainwater from solid particles, such as leaves. It also provides protection for the pump from clogging and damage. It is particularly suitable for use in rainwater management systems. The Opti filter is designed for roofs of up to 200 m2. Possibility of deeper foundation with the use of an extension.

Opti filter extension

This is an ascending (extension) pipe for the Opti filter. It allows for a deeper foundation of the filter. Height of the extension: 700 mm. It is possible to shorten the extension to 75 mm.

Floating water intake

Thanks to the float, the intake constantly floats about 15-20 cm below the water surface, from where you can pump the cleanest water from the tank (various types of impurities can float on the water surface). The mesh filter provides additional protection against impurities. Elements of the set: float with a diameter of 15 cm, mesh filter - mesh 1,2 mm, check valve 1``, spigot 1`` with o-ring for suction hose Ø36 mm, suction hose Ø36 mm and length of 2 m.

Household filter for water 3/4" A 60 microns

Mesh home filter is used to capture the smallest impurities. Its gradation is 60 microns, which provides a high degree of purification.

Rainwater control panel:

The device collects rainwater from the tank and uses the rainwater to flush toilets, power washing machines or water greenery. When there is a deficit of rainwater in the tank, the central panel automatically switches to tap water supply mode. When the operating point of the suction line is below its characteristic line, a booster pump should be used. The aim is to ensure reliable and safe operation of the system. EcoRain 10 is a fully automated rainwater control panel that includes a pump, controller and emergency tap water supply. The Ecorain control panel is easy to install in any basement, garage or first floor of any house.
