Floating Eco water intake

The Floating Eco Water Intake is a solution designed to efficiently extract the cleanest water from underground rainwater harvesting tanks. The unit acts as a fourth stage of treatment, ensuring the supply of water with minimal levels of contaminants. It is ideal for rainwater harvesting systems, particularly in underground tanks. It is invaluable in domestic and industrial installations where water purity is crucial to the effective operation of irrigation and water supply systems.

The suction basket always remains 15-20 cm below the water surface by means of a float. This ensures that the pump extracts the cleanest layer of water, which is just below the surface, bypassing any floating debris. At the same time, the intake does not suck up sediment from the bottom. The mesh filter prevents fine particles from being sucked in, which minimises the risk of damage to the pump and increases its service life.

  • Float diameter: 15 cm, made of durable polyethylene.
  • Mesh filter: Made of stainless steel with a 1.2 mm mesh, provides an additional barrier to fine debris.
  • Non-returnvalve: 1" diameter brass valve prevents backflow.
  • Spigot: Brass with O-ring, suitable for 25 mm diameter suction hose.
  • Flexible PVC hose: 2-metre long, 25 mm internal diameter, terminating in a spigot with 1" external thread.
  • Weight: 0.5 kg.
