Features of submersible rainwater pumps

It is important that rainwater pumps have the ability to pass solids or have a grinder. They are divided into:

  • Automatic pumps - the mechanism of their operation is based on detecting a change in pressure. The impulse to activate the pump can be, for example, unscrewing the nozzle of the garden hose. Similarly, when you turn off the water tap, the pump turns off - it goes into standby mode.

FAQ

What if the pump repeatedly switches on and off?

If the pump hangs up like this, the first thing to do is to check for system tightness. A pressure pump may have a problem if the suction and discharge line is leaking. The pump may also switch off and on in an emergency to check if there is water in the tank. If there is no water, the pump will switch off and can be switched on again after a reset (disconnection from the power source).
