Heating tape for double-walled barrels for heating oil Kingspan

 
The heating tape is used as an additional accessory for bunded fuel oil tanks. The heating tape is a device that regulates the temperature and density of heating oil in the tank. For tanks both stored outdoors and indoors. The tape is embedded in the liquid, and its length depends on the size of the tank. It is resistant to low temperatures below 5 degrees C. It is controlled by a thermostat, which adjusts the heat output and protects the oil from overcooling. It is characterized by low energy consumption, which depends on the ambient temperature. In our offer it fits Kingspan tanks with capacities of 1200 l to 9000 l.

Internal bunded tanks can be previously covered with a layer of thermal insulation - 20 mm thick polyurethane foam. This will reduce the energy consumption of the belt and regulate the temperature in the summer. Installation of the tape can only be carried out by the manufacturer or authorized Kingspan service. In the event of a malfunction of the device, only a licensed electrician can make repairs.

Advantages of using heating tape for heating oil tanks:

  • Protection - protects the fluid from the effects of low temperatures, which can lead to oil thickening and paraffin precipitation
  • Self-regulation (solid-state) - keeps the oil at the set temperature by heating it. Producing as much heat, the lower the temperature of the oil (Low temperature = high power, high temperature = low power)
