Starting June 1, 2022, the call for applications for subsidies for the purchase and installation of rainwater tanks for residents of the city of Kielce is open. The program is very popular, so do not delay in submitting an application. The city plans to allocate PLN 100,000 for this year. You can get up to PLN 2,500 in subsidies. The subsidy covers 80% of eligible costs. Deputy Mayor Agata Wojda commented on the subject:

"This is a continuation of the subsidy provided in previous years, which is part of the realization of the measures included in the Climate Change Adaptation Plan of the City of Kielce until 2030. The installation of such tanks saves drinking water and reduces the discharge of all possible water from the city. Management of rainwater is a key element in counteracting negative climate change."

The program to subsidize the construction of retention reservoirs implements the objectives of small retention. It allows to counteract the effects of drought in Poland. In addition, the building of rainwater retention systems makes it possible to reduce the costs resulting from the rain tax. More information here.
