Many Polish cities are launching local subsidy programs for the construction of retention systems. This is the local governments' response to the growing drought problem. To date, the most popular subsidy program has been My Water (Moja Woda). However, if there are problems with this project, local subsidies are worth taking an interest in. Local governments that offer subsidies have been joined by the authorities of Konstancin. The call for applications started on February 1 and is expected to last until November 1, 2022. The order of applications is decisive, so do not delay. Acceptance will also be stopped if funds are exhausted. This year the municipality of Konstancin-Jeziorna will allocate 20 thousand zlotys for this purpose. 

The city indicated that the purpose of the subsidy is to reduce the effects of the drought. Collecting rainwater and using it helps minimize this effect. In addition, retention systems can reduce costs from rain tax. More information can be found here.

Funds should be used for the purchase, installation and construction of:

Sealed rainwater tanks and a retention and drainage variant are subsidized. In addition, the subsidy also covers installation components. 

The beneficiaries of the program are individuals and entrepreneurs. Any resident of the municipality can benefit from the subsidy. 

Applications should be submitted to the City and Municipality Office, which is responsible for implementing the program.
