Rainwater management system for garden

 A description of the action

Rainwater is collected by the gutter system from the roof surface and directed through downpipes to the underground filter from where it gravitatively goes to the Ecoline II tank. The Pedrollo TOP Multi Tech pump was used for water distribution. The combination of a garden hose with a premium cover equipped with a water intake allows the rainwater stored in the underground tank to be used, for example, for watering the garden.

Installation instructions

It is possible to base the tanks in unfavourable conditions. Ecoline is suitable for soils with unfavourable ground-water conditions. These include, for example, a high groundwater table (up to 40 cm from the bottom of the tank) and impermeable - heavy (clay) soils. 

Application of backfill during installation:

  • Max. 56 cm ground cover - sand backfill (20 cm layer),
  • From 80 cm soil cover - backfilling with lean concrete B-10 (20 cm layer),
  • In case of installation in ground with periodically elevated ground water level (up to max. 40 cm), backfilling with lean concrete B-10 (20 cm layer).

Ecoline Premium cover with water intake and 45 cm extension pipe

The tank cover is made of polyethylene - ideal for green field traffic. The Ecoline Premium cover is offered with a water intake for convenient and easy rainwater management. The manhole extension, the so-called ascending pipe, is 45 cm high and has a diameter of 60 cm. It is possible to add a lifting telescope to lengthen the manhole. There is a DN 600 gasket at the manhole to protect the rainwater storage tank from outside contamination.

Filter basket

It is recommended for roof surfaces max. up to 350 m2. Dimensions: Ø 410 mm, height 160 mm fine filter (filter mesh size - 0.9 mm). Attachment cables and a hook are attached to the basket.

Pressure hose

Pressure hose used to connect the pump to the water intake, located in the tank lid.

TOP Multi-Tech II automatic pump

TOP MULTI-TECH pumps are recommended for pumping clean water and liquids that are not aggressive to the materials of which the pump is made.  Due to high efficiency and reliability, pumps are used when supplying drinking water tanks and wells, for drawing rainwater from cisterns for water gardens or for use in irrigation systems, etc.
