Operation description of the drainage wastewater treatment plant

The wastewater treatment process can be divided into two stages. In the first, so-called anaerobic stage, raw sewage flows by gravity into the septic tank. Here, the wastewater is self-purified. Heavy substances are separated and fall to the bottom of the tank. Fats and oils form so-called dross. The pre-treated wastewater then flows through the filter to the second purification stage which takes place in the infiltration drain. This stage uses a natural aerobic process, involving the biochemical breakdown of pollutants by bacteria. In order for the treatment process to be effective, it must last for at least three days - hence an adequate volume of septic tank is required for the sewage treatment plant to function properly. Sewage treatment plant septic tank

The septic tank is the basic equipment used for wastewater treatment in domestic wastewater treatment plants. It cooperates with the sewage infiltration system consisting of infiltration tunnels. It is made using the rotomolding method, which ensures 100% tightness of the product. There is a baffle inside the septic tank, thus making the tank a two-chamber tank. The tank must not be used as a free-standing tank.
