Household sewage treatment plants are ideal where there is no connection to the collective sewage system. This is most often the case in peripheral settlements or in areas with dispersed single-family housing. The purpose of domestic wastewater treatment plants is to dispose of wastewater at the place of its creation, and then to discharge the treated wastewater by means of a drainage system into the ground or a drainage ditch.

Sewage treatment plants are classified into two main types: Drainage Sewage Treatment Plants and Biological Sewage Treatment Plants. Drainage treatment plants

The first stage of the treatment process takes place in the settling tank by sedimentation. The second - aerobic - stage of treatment takes place in the drainage system (there is a traditional drain with a gravel bed or a package drain, where the bed is replaced by a polyethylene box with a large active surface area - the infiltration tunnel). This is the traditional type of domestic wastewater treatment plant. It is characterised by simplicity and reliability of operation. Periodic inspections and maintenance activities consisting of cleaning and removal of excessive sludge from the tank are necessary.

Biological treatment plants

All stages of wastewater treatment take place within the bioreactor. The tank is divided into a sedimentation zone and an aerobic treatment reactor with the participation of bacteria. Household treatment systems often use SBR (sequencing batch reactor) systems, floating activated sludge in the form of blocks, and diffuser systems. We offer effective biological treatment plants that treat wastewater to Class II water purity and comply with European CE standards. Today, only biological treatment plant systems are used in the west of the European Union out of concern for the environment.
